Cube Houses
The "Cube Houses" in Rotterdam were built between 1978 and 1984 based on the blueprint of Piet Blom. The 39 Cubus-Homes are in the form of a dice standing on its corner point. A fully furnished museum home gives the visitor an impression of living conditions in the Cubus home.
As you notice on the first image, the weather was less than optimal, on that day. I had planned one day for the excursion to Rotterdam ... and it rained the entire day. Since under these conditions, there would be no appropriate exposures for the HDR-workflow, I was confronted with the fact that the excursion was a flop. On close scrutiny of the material, I saw that there were clear lines of the homes, which would make a montage quite simple. With a few extractions, masks and digital lighting, the weather improved considerably.
